Meet Aqsa Alam, a student from #Baluchistan with dreams as big as her potential. In 2021, she received the Scotland Pakistan Scholarship for Young Women, which enabled her to overcome financial challenges and continue her education.

Aqsa aspires to become a doctor and help her community, and with support from the Scottish Government and the British Council in Pakistan, she’s making great strides.

On International Day of the Girl, we celebrate stories like Aqsa's—a reminder that every girl deserves the opportunity to thrive.
