Love to see Rosรฉ topping charts with this cross-cultural, pop-punk hit! It's both refreshing and nostalgic โ especially for those of us who grew up in the 2000s โ and it balances melodic and rhythmic elements of its vocals in an exciting way.
My partner and I had a lot of fun dressing up as Rosรฉ and Bruno Mars for Halloween this year. I figured I had the outfit (this leather jacket that was a thrift store gem) so I might as well try to create a version of the song in my own style. Of course I had to slow it down and try to bring out some of the longing in those lyrics.
