At the beginning of the video I mention that it will be 11:59 when this video releases. Unfortunately though, YouTube only supports releasing scheduled videos in 15 minute intervals. For that reason, I have to premiere this at midnight exactly, so it will actually be a few minutes over.
Either way, this will be an abomination, easily worse than my Funky Abuse video from last year. And no, this is not a continuation of that video, as I did not have time to do that in addition to my other projects, so it will likely be released next year.
This was done live, in one take. There were earlier attempts that did not work out because of technical difficulties, but this was the first attempt I had with a functional set-up, so take that for what it is.
Also, thank you all for 400 subs as of today, I will make a separate video for that shortly!

Ive had a lot of personal things to focus on since April, so I had to take an unexpected break from my channel, but what better way to end that than with an unexpected return on Thanksgiving day! I am very busy now that I am back at school in person, but hopefully I will be able to upload around twice a month from now on. And hey, at least I finally figured out how to get rid of the black border on all of my videos...
I have always found Super Paper Mario to be a very intriguing game, from the environments to the characters to the story, it is a game I think about often. I did not have much time to work on this track, so the layout and decorations are rather minimal, although I did include at least a couple references to the source level. Me and a friend both decided to make Bitlands tracks in order to mess with someone else who frequently makes Paper Mario themed tracks for the jams. The layout was completely improvised, but I still focused on the gameplay (like with my Hurry-Scurry track earlier this year) and it paid off this time. Despite all odds, I ended up placing 2nd out of 15!")

This track was originally started back in November 2021 for one of Citrus CT Secret Santa events. The layout I chose (as seen in the first few seconds of the video) was designed by OrangeYoshi.
This design in particular appealed to me because it is a combination of Maple Treeway and Delfino Square, two of my favorite tracks. Although I took just a tad over the time limit, I am very happy with how it came out. I think I was able to keep the track faithful to the original drawing while still putting my own spin on it (other than the wind on the bridge, which was too awkward to implement well, so I decided to convey the wind with a sound trigger instead).
For the two of you who read the description, heres a quick update. I left the CT Jams community at the beginning of this year, which is why my uploads abruptly halted (that combined with being busy with school). At first, I wasnt planning to make any more tracks, but recently I came to the realization that I do still enjoy making tracks as a hobby, I just dont enjoy the toxicity/pressure of CT Jams or the community as a whole.
So, I plan to proceed with my channel as normal and to make tracks at my own pace, which could be very slow considering I just graduated high school and will be heading to college in August. In the meantime, I want to get to my last few remaining unfinished projects, so stay on the lookout for those. I am currently working on converting my SM64 Castle Grounds hide and seek stage into a proper battle stage.
Finally, I have wanted to branch out to other games for a while, and last year, I documented as much as I could about the cancelled project Super Mario Galaxy 2.5, so I may be posting my discoveries here sometime this summer. Im starting to look into some other communities as well, so dont be surprised if you see some new stuff in the near future! Thanks as always for supporting my channel!")
