Apple just invited select press and creators to an exclusive Apple Experience event in New York, London, and Shanghai — and according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, we could see at least five new products announced between March 2 and March 4.
So what’s coming?
The biggest rumor right now is Apple’s new low-cost MacBook powered by the A18 Pro chip. A 13-inch MacBook designed to compete directly with Chromebooks and entry-level Windows laptops, possibly starting at $699. If true, this could be Apple’s most aggressive pricing strategy in years and could open up macOS to students, schools, and first-time buyers.
We’re also expecting the iPhone 17e, which could bring MagSafe support, the new A19 chip, improved 5G connectivity with the C1X modem, and Wi-Fi 7 via Apple’s N1 chip.
On the pro side, the M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pro models are likely next in line. With improved CPU and GPU performance, higher memory bandwidth, and better sustained performance, these could be serious upgrades for creators, developers, and power users.
Other possible updates include:
• iPad 12th generation with A18 chip
• M4 iPad Air
• New HomePod mini
• Updated Apple TV
• Two new Studio Displays
