. The Doxie Flip is an interesting take on portable scanners. Powered by four AA batteries, you can scan objects on it's scanner bed... or remove the lid and turn it upside down and scan large items like books or even items on walls. A small LCD screen lets you see the images you've scanned and also configure the sleep timer and resolution (300 or 600 dpi). All images are stored on a 4GB SD card included with the scanner and can hold around 2,000 images depending on resolution. _
