Prophet of Zod | Apologists and their Nazis @ProphetofZod | Uploaded December 2018 | Updated October 2024, 12 hours ago.
Apologists love using the Nazis as an example of what would be acceptable in an "atheistic universe." Without God's moral standard, empathy itself provides no moral grounding, so if a society teaches that murder is wrong, its people will think murder is wrong. Thus begins the nightmare of post-Christian society.
But did the citizens of Germany really reverse their opinion of murder? Did their sense of empathy fail them? Or was something else at work? And can Nazism and the holocaust be better understood as something other than a failure to rely on God as a standard of morality? Stay tuned to find out!
