Today we are baking a magickal chamomile lemon balm cake with a delicious sea salt and honey frosting. This is a kitchen witch recipe from my personal kitchen witch grimoire and it is specifically designed to help with anxiety, depression and nervousness. You can bake this cake to perform an edible anti-anxiety spell, as it is made with natural remedies and herbs to treat symptoms of anxiety.
Ingredients
Chamomile & Lemon Balm cake
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup / 6 tea bags chamomile tea
0.3 cups lemon balm (dried or fresh)
2 tablespoons honey
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon fine sea salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 - 2 lemons juiced
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup unsalted butter - at room temperature
4 large eggs
Salted Honey Frosting
220 / 2 Sticks Butter
1 tsp sea salt
up to 1 cup confectioners sugar
0.5 cup honey
