Notes: Basically another any Pokémon/most glitch Pokémon glitch I put together. I don't know which parts (if any) are new.

This time we turn Daisy into the Brock guide, go out of bounds, have two glitch items print out some tiles, and use hex:7C to catch Mew. Note the hex:7C item doesn't work this way in Red/Blue.

Comparison with Rival LG:

1. Instead of taking the 0x50 sub-tile from screen data, it is taken from CF17 (wNPCMovementScriptSpriteOffset), which is 0x50 when you talk to the Brock guide.
2. To set up BTW, D32E (item 9 quantity onward) = 04 (q) 02 (i) 00 (q) 10 (i) ; so the Brock walk from y=04 x=02 runs glitch script 0010 (1000?), which enables overriding the automatic walk and walk through walls.
3. We enter Daisy's house (because the map is the same bank as Pewter City; 06), and change D36B (item 40) to Ether x84; (text pointer table is 6:5450) and talk to Daisy to activate the Brock walk script.
4. Before proceeding, our name must be 7 letters long, and D349 (item 23 onward; the Rival name) must read FE 52 52 52 52 FE FE XX 5E 02 50 ; XX (an item quantity) should be replaced with the Pokémon we want ; see https://glitchcity.wiki/The_Big_HEX_List , must not be a control character). The 02 is for Trainer battle mode (needed for 7C). The FE can be replaced with other non-control characters if you like. Note this will corrupt the options from the menu, but won't hinder gameplay. The options can be changed back to how they were later. This may be awkward to set up all those bytes without cheating, but is possible.
5. 00 bytes from Daisy's house's wall in an out of bounds position are used to write to D068 (prevents the Pokémon we catch from becoming Ditto, even if you've already caught it).
6. We change D35E (item 33 q onward) to EC (q) C6 (i), immediately after activating the script by pressing Start to open the menu as soon as possible, then close and open the menu once more without moving to load the Glitch City.
7. We have glitch item 0x82 in slots 1 and 4 and -g m (0x6A) in slot 2. At this point, we go to the top of the menu, exit with B, enter menu again, use -g m, immediately press Start, enter items again, and scroll down.
8. On a new page, we have at the top 8F, 4 't 4 (0x7C item). Immediately from step 7 without closing the menu or using -g m again, now use (including pressing A on use, not just flashing it) 4 't 4; the corruption is now active, and using 0x7C activates its effect of 'stealing a Trainer Pokémon'; which we manipulated to be XX.
9. The automatic selection effect should now be on 8F (not to be confused with Red/Blue's 8F; which functions completely differently). Using it should warp us to a glitch map, allowing us to escape, and the game won't lock up.
10. The invisible Start menu is active, so scroll to save and press A multiple times (off-screen). You'll know if you did it if the 'saved' SE plays.
11. Reset the game to fix the invisible Start menu.
12. Change item 37 quantity to x0 (you can place one of your 0x00 glitch item x0 there) to enable Flying away, then Fly away.
13. You'll keep the Pokémon you caught if you didn't have 6 party Pokémon and a full box. (Doing it with a full box attempts to send it anyway without the error message, and allows for expanded PC; I'll cover this application next).
