We have another win to get Joey back on her feet!
It’s impossible to achieve forward progress when the author-a-tay is chasing you all over the city, trying to steal your home. In the midst of those challenges, tragedy, in the form of death, can strike in a split second.
While it remains highly offensive that government essentially has disdain for those of us out here on the streets in the trenches of building relationships with the unhoused, we’ll just put this in the win column for now.
She hasn’t been given the key, yet, but…
We had to jump through MANY hoops and spend many hours of unpaid time, while our paid with stolen tax dollar overlords, decided how to best accommodate giving me TWO referrals to make for entrance into transitional housing.
Onward to making my second referral…
