BREAKING: Joyale Seafood Restaurant in Seattle's Chinatown-ID is shutting down.
The dim sum establishment at 900 S. Jackson St is laying off workers and turning away customers.
Sources say it's due to crime and open-air drug use in the area.
Community activist Tanya Woo first got word of this closure. When we visited the restaurant today, several entitled fentanyl addicts were smoking in the vestibule and refused to leave.
We were unable to reach owner Vincent Zhao. But he also owns Seattle Harbor and Top Gun Seafood Restaurant in Bellevue.
Joyale is right across the street from the hot mess and drug den at 12th Ave & Jackson St.
Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson is allowing the identity of an Asian American community to be erased on her watch.
