Here's another thing that can happen if you go too fast. Though, I think at least in this case, I could have avoided death by shooting the missiles earlier...? There should be some point, though, at which I'm forced to shoot the missiles later in order to hit the Polish at all, but by shooting later it won't die in time before I run into it.
