i have wanted to vid this song for so LONG (its my favourite!) and this idea has been with me for several months now: demon in the woods meets shadow and bone (with more than a dash of darkling&alina).
for those of you who haven't read it: demon in the woods is a prequel to the grisha trilogy and is a short story of a snippet of the darkling's early childhood. it's honestly my favourite of that entire series, ha. if you haven't read it yet, check it out!

i got this idea in my head while driving - as one does - and took a gd voice memo bec i couldnt get it out of my head. tbh, when you imagine it and then make the conscious effort to ONLY use seventh son.... is a Choice.
i also wildly chose some dates to place darkles on his timeline of about 400 years ago. i mean, no one even KNOWS how old this wizard is so. i took some liberty with the centuries - forgive me. book!darkles vs show!darkles seem to have v different timelines.
anyways, its 4am and i most definitely have spent WAY to much time on this... but i hope some of yall like this au! someone please write it k thanks (no, for real tho...... i cant stop thinking about it)
