the answer is yes. the reason is i have no clue. honestly, when i picked up the books originally i had thought it was an anastasia/magical retelling with a hot!villain, so i guess this is for 2013 me. just with a sprinkle of immortality and reincarnation. for spice.
i can't believe im doing all these aus and the show isn't even out yet. netlix, this is what you have DONE.

i got this idea in my head while driving - as one does - and took a gd voice memo bec i couldnt get it out of my head. tbh, when you imagine it and then make the conscious effort to ONLY use seventh son.... is a Choice.
i also wildly chose some dates to place darkles on his timeline of about 400 years ago. i mean, no one even KNOWS how old this wizard is so. i took some liberty with the centuries - forgive me. book!darkles vs show!darkles seem to have v different timelines.
