The announcement ceremony will take place in the entrace hall of Media City Bergen at 09:00 CET.
Main speakers at the event will be Rector of the University of Bergen, Dag Rune Olsen and Chair of the Holberg Prize Board, Sigmund Grønmo. We will also hear citations from the Nils Klim Committee and Holberg Committee.
The Holberg Prize is awarded annually to a scholar who has made outstanding contributions to research in the arts and humanities, social science, law or theology, either in one of these fields or through interdisciplinary work.
The Nils Klim Prize is awarded annually to Nordic scholars under the age of 35, for outstanding contributions within the arts and humanities, social sciences, law or theology, either within one of the relevant fields alone or through work of an interdisciplinary nature.
