Through a series of writing exercises and group discussions, Anni will demonstrate where to begin when crafting dialogue and how to convey your characters thoughts through words. You will learn:

How to give your characters distinct and fully formed voices
How to write effective dialogue that will add depth to your story and not take the reader away from the action
In addition to writing prose and poetry, Anni is an experienced actress and director. This workshop will focus on dialogue for prose but will talk briefly about associated techniques for script writing.
This workshop will take place in person at National Centre for Writing, Dragon Hall. Light refreshments will be provided.
