At the heart of our communities are incredible volunteers who work tirelessly to make our world a safer, better place. When Kiwi cook, Annabel Langbein's daughter Rose had a nasty accident earlier this year the Hawea Volunteer Fire Brigade came out to help, so when she heard they were on a training exercise not far from her place in Wanaka, she decided to pop out with morning tea.
