Anna Chalmers, MD, admires the warmth, compassion, and collaboration she finds at Huntsman Cancer Institute, and is optimistic about the future of sarcoma treatment. Sarcomas are cancers of the muscle, bone, and connective tissues such as cartilage, fat, nerves, blood vessels, and tendons. Dr. Chalmers was inspired to specialize in treatment of sarcoma during her fellowship due to the often unique aspects of the treatment. Every day, Dr. Chalmers works to achieve new successes in treatment and constantly learns new things from her patients. She is inspired by those who find joy in the little moments and strives to do so herself, both through her work at HCI and spending time with her two children.
