Ann Widdecombe’s funeral is taking place today at the Devon abbey where she regularly worshipped.

The former MP, 78, died on July 8 after an attack at her home on Dartmoor, prompting a major police investigation.

A public memorial celebrating her life is expected to be held later this year.
