U P D A T E (long description)

WAAAH FINALLY! I have a laptop again! Not that I told many people this but my last one died and I basically couldn't edit for well over a month :I God that sucked. So as a result I became pretty backed up in terms of the MEP's I'm hosting as well as parts that I owe people. I started feeling a little overwhelmed because as soon as I was able to edit again I just felt like I had wayy too much to do at once xD So I sat back, calmed down, and told myself to put everything else on pause. I've been so preoccupied with MEP parts that I hadn't really edited anything for myself in quite some time, so this was necessary u_u That is, after all, what my new channel is supposed to be about!

K I made this in record time; like 4 days. This song resonates with me very personally; it makes me sad. The song makes me think of wanting to be young forever and escaping adult responsibilities. I'm currently in that "transitional" period from dependent to independent, and well it makes me sad to think that my days of innocent youth are officially over x] I'm pretty sure me editing with childhood animation is my way of desperately clinging on to that part of my life :( The Smiths were also my dad's favorite band as a teenager, so it makes me think of him and my parents in general, having experienced the things I'm going through currently (hence the parallels I added between the two sets of movies). Overall it leaves an uncomfortable knot in my stomach -.- But at the same time the song, as well as this video now, help me to cope with these gradual changes ^_^ I'm relatively pleased with the way it came out :) I hope the colors don't look too washed out but I was going for an old photograph kinda look.

NEXT I MUST THANK KITSUKIII for helping me to actually find an affordable laptop. If it weren't for her I probably wouldn't have one so soon; and I seriously love it so far! I'm going to take super good care of it u_u Kitsuki also gave me the idea to use light rays and a texture, so thank you for all of your suggestions buddy! :3
