Hi Friends!! New upload alert. This time with TURNING RED, which I hope we’ve all seen by now because wow, what a movie, amiright? I enjoyed it soooo much and it made me wish I had a film like this growing up, might’ve been more true to my nerdy self, back in the day :’) But either way I’m glad it exists now, the aesthetic is really visually pleasing to me, and I was happy to hear the director describe it as “East meets West” animation because that’s exactly how it came across.
BUT onto the video. This is a song I’ve wanted to use ever since I began my fan editing journey (like 14 years ago now LOL f*ck). It started as a Lion King “Kiara” concept (v basic), then over time evolved into a Disney princess idea. Could never quite get myself inspired to execute it though, and then along comes this movie. There aren’t many perfect matches in the world but dagnabbit, this is one of them. Thus the edit came together fairly quickly, and was a blast to make. #FREEBRITNEY
I also have to give special thanks to AJ (ClubAmador2012) who both sent me the movie unprompted AND continuously inspires me with his edits. I really wanted to challenge myself to incorporate an audio mix this time (way out of my comfort zone ngl) and I’m pleased to say I am happy with the result! This may unlock some new video concepts for me down the road now that I’m not so scurred of a lil audio B)
All that being said, I want to thank again all my viewers who have stuck with me through the years. Your comments and feedback always brighten up my day, and I am happy to have this safe space to share this dorky lil hobby with. This movie spoke to me on so many levels :’D

Longtime followers of me will also know this is my first entirely 3D movies edit 😱 Let me say, it was an extremely rewarding experience. 2D will always have my heart, but the progression of animation as an art form has been so astounding to see. These films are beautiful and I hope to keep making more edits with them :D
