It's not really about the plot, in some stories it's almost pure canon – Bambi's part for example – in other stories it's up to you why the characters are in the end of the world.
But in Kovu / Kiara part it's also almost canon.
It's just that this song means much to me, it feels like some kind of a happy requiem. During last few months all I do is pretending "it's not the end of the world", so of course I wanted to edit with this song for a long time
