Sarabi and Chief were in love. Chief came to Africa with his humans and often went into the wild, he met Sarabi in the savannah. She hoped he would stay in her pride and they would be together, even if they are different species.
Chief told her he wants it. But he was living a double life, he had a dog in town he was dating.
He can't choose between this dog and Sarabi, or so it seemed, because when the dog was leaving to Europe Chief went with her, without saying goodbye to Sarabi.
She saw him leaving on a ship, it broke her heart. Now years later Sarabi still feels sorrow, without knowing that Chief regrets his betrayal, he is not happy and misses Sarabi.
But Sarabi can be okay now, despite the sorrow and pain of the past, she has a good life
