Sampler for 3D Choreographer, 3D 'animation software' created by Animated Communications in the 90s. This software was described as an "animation program designed for non-artists" by its developers. Included here is a demonstration of what the program could do and all. Featuring three sample animations and some slides simply showing how to operate the software. The software is considered lost media at this point, as all that I could find is this demo (and part of its installer??) from a Razor 1911 warez CD.
If these characters look very familiar to you, these characters were notoriously featured in such 'Wolf Tracer Studios' productions such as "Rapsittie Street Kids: Believe in Santa" and "Wolf Tracer's Dinosaur Island." Despite the character shown in the video just being generic humanoids or similar, some of the ones featured in Rapsittie Street Kids were modeled specifically for the film, as according to a Polygon article and the film's credits.
I could not find a copy of this program ever since I found out about the program. I found a ISO dump of a Razor 1911 demo disc on the Internet Archive with this contained on it, along with an installer of sorts (though unusable). A friend of mine (BHVXT98/itsbeeache) was able to extract what seemed to be 9 (in total) ZIP files from the disc labelled "3DCHORE#.ZIP" (1-9) and combine them into one specific file. From there, I was able to properly run the demo from a Windows 95 virtual machine.
There's a file in there with a bit of mystery: 'ANIINST.EXE', which seems to be the installer for it after looking through a hex editor. Unfortunately, after messing around with it in a hex editor (and using the combined version) I was unable to install it, and at this stage probably never will. Any time the application is launched, the message 'Error Opening File' pops up and halts setup. If I had to take an educated guess, the compressed install files are missing. If not, then all the installer does is just install the demo.
With all of that said, I'm currently still on the hunt for this program! Let me know if you find it by any chance (or get the provided installer to function somehow) (as of 2022, i am currently not looking for a copy anymore, especially considering it has already been found. having said that, any new details are acceptable.)
