FeCoNi | Angle Of Attack - Nathan Oakley is an idiot @FeCoNi_science | Uploaded February 2019 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Nathan Oakley has been trying to invent some new bullshit physics phenomenon called "angle of attack" as he demonstrates in this video youtube.com/watch?v=O7KGpxaY7Rs . I saw his video when I was bored in the lab and I was curious to see if I could replicate it but this time using a slightly better control.
In his video you can clearly see that the rather thick book he places on the floor in a different room with a different floor heigh and filming it in a room which has a floor which is clearly not level. I thought that I would repeat it in my department which has long hallways and pretty flat continuous floors. This time, I decided that I would use a copy of "nature" from a few months ago and it is significantly thinner than Nathan's book; surely, if his new law of physics is correct then this this thin magazine should just disappear! After all, he made a much thicker book disappear....
Of course, I doubt that Nathan Oakley truly is a flat earther, but screw it... I was bored.
