"Oracles of Mesopotamia", an original melody about an ancient land from which the oldest stories in the world emerged from, is the outcome of the convergence of ancient and modern musical instruments: the ancient lyre, the handpan, the ancient duduk, and the double bass. This is a live music session at the SEIKILO Museum, celebrating what was lost in the mists of time.
Theodore Koumartzis plays on a Lyre of Orpheus, masterfully handcrafted for him in Greece by the LUTHIEROS family. Sandy Mango plays on a Sympan handpan, while Sokratis Votskos and Linos Tzelos perform on the ancient duduk and the double bass respectively.

⚪ ”Fleur du désert” is a musical collective based on the improvisational dialogues between four musicians from Greece and France and the convergence of ancient and modern instruments.
The name originates from the desert rose, a special flower that blooms against all odds. It is considered a timeless symbol of strength and hope, with its story being lost in the mists of ancient tales.
A world music environment is formed among the ancient lyre, the handpan, the bass and the winds, sustaining hints of soul singing and jazz progressions.
