Some might consider this a spoiler. But I am throwing caution to the wind and revealing it. In Star Explorers you can find a number of item blueprints from ancient alien civilizations. One of these is the Ancient Alien Blaster. It works like a normal laser pistol, but it does more damage and can destroy rocks like the rocket launcher.
A recent bug report showed that the blaster was not working correctly so I have updated the game. Enjoy!
