This is an example of the gameplay in Star Explorers:

In it, I visit 3 random planets, and demonstrate some of the basic features. There is also a visit to the mother-ship, where the player can trade in any good discovered. This only represents a random sample of what a player can encounter. There are many locations and features not shown, but that's the point. The game is about exploration and discovery, and each world is randomly generated for each player. Planets are consistent and can be revisited an indefinite number of times.

The game also has combat, though on this sample no hostile aliens were encountered.

All the sounds are what is heard in-game. Music is generated unique for each planet and will differ from that heard in this video.

Loading screen times have been shortened in the video.

The frame-rate is slightly slower than normal, as recording consumes some extra memory.
