As an Italian Folk Magic practitioner Ancestors work for me really means ancestors worship and try to learn the ways to connect with your ancestors as they feel like they are my spirit guides and so to create an ancestor altar to work ancestral magic with them has been one of my beginner witchcraft 101 practice since the beginning.
