The plaintiff says she bought a truck off Craigslist from the defendant, and shortly after, it died right in the middle of the street. She claims her mechanic friend refused to work on the car because it had so many mechanical issues and he didn’t want to get involved. In fact, the plaintiff insists the defendant rigged the hood so you couldn’t open it. She is suing the defendant for a refund. The defendant says he sold the plaintiff the truck as is with 147,000 miles on it and told her up front there could be issues with it. He’s sorry, but a deal’s a deal.
