The plaintiff says the defendant, while exiting a parking lot on his right, bolted across the lane and hit him. He claims the defendant took off, and when the cops caught up to him, he claimed he was unaware of any impact. He’s suing for the damages. The defendant says the plaintiff was traveling at a high speed on a small road, locked up his brakes, and crashed into either another car or the median. He insists he wasn’t involved in the impact.
