I won't have any fashion content in today's video, but it seemed like a good time to tell you a little about myself. There was so much more I wanted to say, but I was beginning to ramble and couldn't possibly fit everything in. Plenty of time for that later.
The story behind TrainGirl -
As a weekend commuter, I would take these 5+ hour train rides to my office and stay there for a few days. On one particularly packed train I sat down next to an incredible girl named Caroline. She complimented my Ferragamo bag, and this launched the best 3 hour chat I've ever had with a stranger.
Right before her stop we agreed that we absolutely had to stay in contact. We put "Train Girl" as the nickname in the contact so we would remember who the heck this person was. I don't even think we had exchanged names until that point. Anyway, it was lovely and that moment has stuck with me. We've caught up in NYC since then :)
