Seriously though, guys. The community is not dead, and the homepage has little to nothing to do with upward mobility for most people. It's been that way for a long time. YouTube has never been, first and foremost, about community. It's always been viral videos of cats and babies first, community second. Don't try and command the future by glorifying the past.
