Mr @ultimatemaitai did a little digging for us and found out that this recipe was created by Raquel Rodriquez and Claudia Dessai. And Claudia will be opening up the new Trader Vic's location in Kona this year... so maybe use some Kona cold brew coffee!

The Kafe Colada recipe can be found on the back of the Trader Vic's brand Macadamia Nut orgeat bottle. Not only does it require said Macadamia Nut orgeat, but it also calls for Trader Vic's Ko-Ko Kreme Coconut Syrup. Neither syrup is the best I have ever had, but they are not bad. Both will be making their way into my iced coffees this summer.
