At just eight years old, Kenrap already lives in a remote Himalayan monastery. Recognised as a young monk, his life is shaped by prayers, rituals, and discipline long before most children leave their village.
Once a year, the monks travel to nearby settlements to perform protection ceremonies. For him, this journey becomes something else: a brief return home. In the snow-covered village of his childhood, he reunites with his family, remembers games, jokes, and the simple warmth of ordinary life.
Though dressed as a monk, he is still a very young boy. He plays, laughs, falls ill, and seeks comfort like any other child.
