Amy's Baking Company was recently featured on Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares and Sammy and Crazy Amy were portrayed very poorly. In addition to admitting on camera that they steal their server's tips they also intentionally over spiced food if a customer complained.
Anyway today they are having their grand reopening. Ten percent of the proceeds will go to meganmeierfoundation.org which works to prevent cyberbullying. They hired 30 people at a job fair this past Saturday after being closed for two weeks. My prediction is that 3 days is not enough time to train 30 staff to handle a sold out grand opening and one of the reasons why Amy and her kitchen was so behind on their food during the show was that they were not used to the big crowds that Gordan Ramsay tends to attract. I suspect a repeat of this meltdown will happen especially with an entirely green and untrained staff. Think about it, would any qualified person honestly sign on with them?
