Amy's rescue dog started having accidents whenever she left the house, even for short trips, and she finally figured out the real problem: the exit itself, the dog racing for the door and Amy shutting it in her face. Now she takes a couple of minutes first to kneel down, scratch the dog's face, and tell her she's safe and that Amy's coming back, and the accidents stopped. It's a genuinely useful little tip for anyone with an anxious pet (and Bobby's interjection that his wife does the exact same thing to him is the perfect button).
