oh look an amv thats been planned since last year.
and it sucks. how wonderful.
I tried to do this in DaVinci Resolve but... just the first few seconds were impossible to playback smoothly.
So I switched to AE.
Which??? previewed rly nicely??? until i reached like 50 seconds, then it just gave up completely.
BUT I'M HERE. I like some of the individual segments but the whole thing is just a mess.
it was supposed to be a norman amv, but the scene choice made it rly noremma, so thats. unfortunate.
it has no rhyme or reason to it, and random manga panels and text.
So I guess all this is was me experimenting with software lol. but ah well.

We all picked a fandom and listed a song, the fandom had to be used in our edit and the song would be randomized between all the songs. does that make sense??? idk
Either way, I picked Tangled The Series!! Mostly because I wanted to edit it and because its at least remotely non/disney haha.
I had a lot of luck with the song, its so beautiful and fits so well!! ;v; My slow edits are just boring as fuck.
S3 had its faults but the emotional stuff hit pretty hard so yee.

► SPOILERS FOR THE TANGLED FINALE.
The finale wrecked me. And this took way too long like what the hell. Half a month.
Anyway, I really wanted to edit this song for a while, and BAM tangled strangely enough fits it pretty well. I tried to go for scene choice but if one line has like 10 beats and therefore 10 potential scene swaps I KINDA RAN OUT OF LYRICAL STUFF PRETTY FAST XD

So anyway, Im so super proud of it, especially the first third. Like, everything about the first third came out amazing. The beats are matched pretty good, the lyrics effects (especially the shattering) look convincing (even tho the lies part is way too short to really see it which Im super sad about) and the scene choice isnt so bad either.
The end is kinda random and not actually his point of no return, but I was pretty chronological for the most part of the amv so I didnt wanna switch to his Emo-scene in Queen for a day just at the end. So... STORYTELLING??? Idk.
Anyway, hope you enjoyed it!! :3
Tangled was a great, great series - I cant wait for it to continue. I hope Varian comes back, and possibly gets a redemption which hopefully includes Cass more than attempting to kill her featuring a terrible pun.
