I tried not to look at the edit above too much and I focussed more on the parallels between Emma and Isabella, so I think it's fine??? totally check their edit out though!
I don't know exactly why but Isabella's words at the end make me cry everytime I just think about it. also the hair animation on her in the final episode is like MMMMMHHHHH YES.
She's such a good villain and yet so understandable and human and has parallels to each of the main trio and personally I find that absolutely amazing.

I cried. like 3 times editing this pff XD listening to so many audio clips to see which ones i wanted to use and then trying to edit the music out using Audition (luckily there are a lot of just silent emotional scenes, but let me tell you getting isabellas lullaby out of the bg is impossible. sad.)
then they sound robotic as hell, so i just slap echo on there and call it a day.
Could I have used normal subtitles? Yes. but. No.

Anyway, when I first heard this song, it reminded me of wakfu ladies, and this part reminded me of Tigress bc of the yin/yang. And the metal part reminded me of Toph. So when I came to host this mep I had to decide, and I decided for avatar, since I had a low-point with kfp back then. I actually wanted someone else to take that part and edit atla to it, but it ended up staying open so I switched to grab the chance haha. First I was SOOO uninspired, but I think it ended up being super nice, if I dare to say so myself.

I am alive! WOOO. XD
And I watched the she-ra reboot last week and this is my quick and shitty tribute to it. Expect more (hopefully).
I think the new show has its flaws but overall I think I enjoy it more than the original.
The original is very beloved by my mom and just like she did with Sailor Moon, she showed me She-ra as well. So I actually have a connection to the original, unlike how I stand towards Voltron.
It was interesting to hear all these familiar names and see what they did with it - and I like most of it, honestly. As an IT student, the system admin / code stuff is an interesting touch that I enjoyed. When the hologram said Query not found I TURNED ON SUBTITLES TO BE SURE I DIDNT HEAR THAT WRONG XD
The best thing is probably how various the body types and representation is. I also really like the music and animation in she-ras transformation. I usually actually was sad when they skipped it or shortened it. I really like how she grows bigger too.
It clearly is intended for kids and I hope it tackles some more dark themes. The old She-ra is def more mature / sexual.
Anyway. CATRA. I think I have a highkey crush on her.
I def like the characters way more in this, I love them.
Catra and Adora are.... complicated. I def love their dynamic.
Anyway, I wanted to do some fancy 3D stuff and particle effects. I ended up doing it for like 3 seconds and gave up XD AND IT DOESNT EVEN LOOK GOOD AHHHHH.
But all in all, Im pretty proud of my scene choice! ^///^
