This was actually uploaded yesterday, I wanted to adjust some things and re-render but Premiere is being a major pain T_T and its made me indifferent to the changes I wanted to make now lol.
This is a straightforward/nothing ambitious tribute for Silco using a song I found in the Crows IC pack. I started this video for the IC but didn't have the motivation to finish, and slowly picked at it over the past week or so ~
Silco is such a good villain and this song suits him so well. When I was watching Arcane I kept thinking that his flashback scenes with Vander were so perfect for editing, and made notes of his quotes too because they're so powerful. And I'm glad I did this and ticked it off my bucket list of things to edit :D

SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 123-4 of Heaven Officials Blessing (Black Water Arc) (seriously dont watch this if you want to read it o_o)
This video was born out of 1) extreme angsting over the Black Water arc of the HOB/TGCF novel 2) A desire to practice using the puppet tool in AE. 3) Practice MMV FX again..
I love Shi Qingxuan so so much, hes one of my top 5 characters in HOB. Im nearing the end of the novel right now and thats still the case :) . The Black Water arc really had an impact on me, and this part of Heavy in your arms by Florence is so so perfect for Shi Qingxuan - He Xuan angst. The way the arc unfolded was honestly masterful.
I dont really ship them so I wanted to keep that possibility out of the video. But, there are signs that he definitely doesnt hate Shi Qingxuan as much as he wants to - and I acknowledge that :D
This was really fun to put together bit by bit, Id animate one thing every night and slowly put it together. I wish I had more sources to use, and that the manhua had more, but oh well - I used what I could, for now. One day the donghua/manhua will get there lmao.

Im so excited to finally finish this video. I actually started this a few months ago, after I heard the song in our IS Summer IC song pack, and thought it was perfect for Fruits Basket. If I wasnt a judge, I totally would have tried to finish it for the IC. BUT, Im glad I didnt, because I finally had all the scenes I wanted after the latest episode aired.
The video is a simple edit, and a simple introduction to Fruits Basket. I didnt want to make it too complicated. Im really excited about seeing some future episodes, and will definitely be making more videos (but much, much darker next time).
Hope the happy vibes of this video are enjoyable for now (because it wont be so happy next time -evil laugh- xD).

So, two weekends ago I joined a random IC that IS members decided to do. We all chose songs for us all to edit to. It was really fun, and I also got myself to watch more episodes of 3 gatsu no lion, in order to edit to this song. Im enjoying the human emotions and feels in this series (the shogi, I have less interest in though..). But Im looking at starting the second season very soon anyway :D
This video is based on the first season.
Its basically about Reis struggles, and how his step-sister bullied him. Maybe theres even a hint of stockholm syndrome at the end of the video too.
I didnt spend much time on effects but Im happy with how this turned out atmosphere wise.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMY!
Im so excited to share this with you. I think its the first time ever I have a video that you had no idea about, idea wise, song wise, anything wise.
I also wasnt expecting to make this either until a few weeks ago. When Sleeping At Last released this EP two weekends ago, I loved it, both the lyric and instrumental version. It clicked to make an FF GMV to it and I remembered all the Advent Children and Remake scene connections. I kept imagining it until I started editing. Cloud and Tifa were a perfect match for the storytelling. In my semi-retirement editing phase my video style has changed to quote heavy/live action style editing, but I enjoyed putting it together.. I hope I chose the right quotes.
It took everything not to tell you about the idea and share betas with you, so Im happy to finally share. Hope you like, and cheers to another year of our friendship :) (Our next FF collab when?)
