The first four parts of the A-Z of Amstrad games proved very popular last year, and by popular demand we bring you part #5! We're playing through them alphabetically by year order, starting with the birth of the machine in the first year - 1984! ❤️ Last time we got up to the letter "S"...
So expect lots of nostalgia, Amsoft games, a load of old crap, and some oldie but goldies! Whatever we come across though it's an interesting part of Amstrad and gaming history we're documenting!
(The games we will be excluding are magazine listings and type-ins, text adventures, and strategy/war simulations. Some other simulation type games may be skipped and we probably will skip past public domain / homebrew games until later in the machine's life.)

⭐️1985⭐️ Part #1! Lets Begin 85!
We continue on our long ongoing journey and quest to play, review (you will vote in the chat!), record and document (eventually I will release the final spreadsheet and results!) of every commercially released game on the Amstrad CPC!
Recently we finished the first series of the A-Z of Amstrad games for 1984 (which took six parts) that proved to be very popular, and so now we bring you 1985! The first part! Were playing through the games alphabetically, so were starting with the letter A tonight - but before that itll be games starting with numbers (eg 3D [something]) or special characters.
So expect lots of nostalgia, Amsoft games, a load of old crap, and some oldie but goldies! Maybe our first film and coin-op licences too! Whatever we come across though its an interesting part of Amstrad and gaming history were documenting!
(The games we will be excluding are magazine listings and type-ins, text adventures, mail-order and strategy/war simulations. Some other simulation type games may be skipped and we probably will skip past public domain / homebrew games until later in the machines life.)

Vive la France! Were travelling over the English channel to check out one of the very first French publishers of Amstrad software - Loriciel (aka Loriciels) and their sub label Futura tonight! They may have not survived past the 16-bit era, but they produced some fantastic and brilliant original Amstrad games like Skweek, Bactron, Panza Kick Boxing, Builderland, Jim Power, Bob Winner, Billy La Banlieue and many more! So its about time we dedicated a stream (and more) to exploring their finest and most interesting games!

After many Amstreams gathering nominations, voting and surveys - its time to reveal the 10 best ever BUDGET games on the Amstrad CPC!
Like my previous top 10 video (the worst ever games) this list and order hasnt been thrown together on whim by me, but by many hours of looking at hundreds of games, and involving the Amstrad community to choose and order our list!
So here are our top 10 budget games, with so many others narrowly missing getting into the top 10 - its been a really good fun ride finding these! But please note, we are only considering games that were originally released at budget - that means at £3.99 or less. So no Hit Squad re-releases of full price games! It was also interesting to see there were a lot of games that people over the years have always thought were budget games, but were in fact not! (We cover that in the video too!).

🦧⭐️ TOKI! ⭐️🦧
🕹️ New Amstrad Game! 🕹️
At last!! Its TOKI night on the Amstream!! Amstrad fans have waited many many years for a conversion of Toki. Originally Ocean Software promised an official release of the arcade coin-op for the Amstrad GX4000 console of all things believe it or not, and the story goes that the 1st level was complete but it was going to require a higher capacity cartridge to fit the full game in, so Ocean cancelled the project. Thankfully many years later the amazing Amstrad GGP team have stepped in and produced their own version! And after we exclusively demoed the 1st level way back in December 2019 on the Amstream, the finished game is finally here!! And tonight we at last get to play through the whole thing and I cannot wait!! Tonight we go ape with TOKI!! 🐵 Can I beat the game tonight? Lets find out....

The CPCRetroDev results day is here and tonight we will be looking at the winners and playing through all 36 games! And as usual, theres some really brilliant games this year!!
CPCRetroDev 2022 is the 10th edition of the Amstrad CPC game creation contest ran by the University of Alicante, where students there will be entering their own games but its also open to anyone who wants to make a new Amstrad game in 64k of memory! And theres nearly 3000€ in prizes available, so the competition will be hot!!
Tonight we will be playing all the games in descending order from the winner to the game in last place. The results will be announced via their own stream earlier in the evening, which I am a judge on (judging Graphics and Artistic Quality)!
In previous years we had games like The Abduction Of Oscar Z, Babas Palace, Shovel Adventure, Operation Alexandra, Timothy Gunn, and more! What will this year bring?? Lets all find out!!
