Kukulcan will make the disk available for everyone after the stream on the CPC-Power.com website! This is an enhanced port of a ZX Spectrum game made by Dominic Reardon in 2018, coded by both Kukulcan and VincentGR with music by our very own Jonah Tasteful Mr Ship! Run around blasting robots to rescue your friend, set the self destruct timer on the enemy base and escape before it blows up!
Our second new game is the recently released "Black Sea", also a ZX Spectrum conversion by Mananuk but also enhanced for the CPC! Explore the oceans looking for lost treasure battling vicious sea creatures!
After we will do more runs in "Xyphoe's Nightmare" and looking at how everyone is doing in the high score competition!

An early Xmas present for Amstrad fans courtesy of the 21bloques team! This is a conversion of a PC game released in 2019, that was designed to be a throwback to arcade coin-op games from the early 80s like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, etc and was even released in its own dedicated arcade cabinet with side art! Now, here it is converted to the Amstrad CPC almost coming full circle! In this spooky single screen arcade platformer, Darkula is on a mission to remove all the lights in an amusement park that was created by monsters, to show them the natural beauty of the moon and what its like to live wildly under the darkness of the night! Longplay and review for Zaxx on the Amstrad CPC!
Ive always loved the arcade coin-op Zaxxon! And wished there was an official port and conversion to the Amstrad!! 😭 So in this video I go in search of what happened to the Amstrad port when every other computer and console bloody got one (spoiler... we nearly did....), I also go looking for the best Zaxxon clones on the Amstrad (another spoiler... its our main feature and longplay - Zaxx!) but first we start off with a little history lesson and playthrough of the first loop of the classic coin-op that started it all - Zaxxon! However our main feature is of course the longplay and review of Chips Zaxxon clone ZAXX and I think most of you will be fairly impressed...
I hope you enjoy this video, its a little bit different in style to my usual longplays, and certainly was fun to make and put together!
Zaxx though, I think is surprisingly quite a hidden little gem for such a blatant rip-off and clone....

We have a cute and fun new platformer, the very first Amstrad game made by Sergi Caparros of CapaSoft from Spain! Poor Jax the dog is lost! And you have to guide him home to his family, collecting bones to munch on along the way over various screens, avoiding hazards such as other animals, spikes and fire! Tonight well see if we beat it and get Jax home!
After Jax The Dog its the return of a new Community AMSGAME!.....

🕹️ Part #3 - Rambo, Ghostbusters, James Bond and more!... 🕹️
This evening we continue our journey through of all the games released on the Hit Squad budget label! Weve done several streams already with the Arcade Collection and Sports Collection - now were back with the third part of the 🎥 MOVIE COLLECTION! 🎬 and what a lineup of film tie-in games we have for you!! From Rambo to Red Heat, with James Bond, Ghostbusters and more in-between! Maybe time for some more Batman too?
Ocean Software started their own budget label called The Hit Squad to re-release theirs and others (eg Activision, Domark, etc) big full price releases at pocket money prices in 1989. So were continuing tonight with the Movie Collection and going through them in order of release! What was cool (especially for collectors) is that they used a numbering system on the spine of the cassette cover so we can start at #1 (the earliest release) and work our way through them! Tonight we pick-up where we finished after the second part of this stream with the game at #14! The Movie Collection has 30 titles, so this will likely be in several more parts - along with more from the Sports and Arcade collections in future Amstreams!
Its sure to be an epic cinematic night of nostalgic AMSFUN!

⭐️1985⭐️ Part #3! More Letter A Games...
We continue on our long ongoing journey and quest to play, review (you will vote in the chat!), record and document (eventually I will release the final spreadsheet and results!) of every commercially released game on the Amstrad CPC!
The previous A-Z of Amstrad games streams proved to be very popular, and so now we bring you the third part of 1985! Were playing through the games alphabetically, and tonight in our 3rd part we bring more games beginning with the letter A! Hopefully we might make it to B too!
So expect lots of nostalgia, Amsoft games, a load of old crap, and some oldie but goldies! Definitely our first film and coin-op licences too! Whatever we come across though its an interesting part of Amstrad and gaming history were documenting!
(The games we will be excluding are magazine listings and type-ins, text adventures, mail-order and strategy/war simulations. Some other simulation type games may be skipped and we probably will skip past public domain / homebrew games until later in the machines life.)

Its a good Amstream when we have a new Amstrad game, but this week we have two! 🥳 We start tonight with...
☁️Foggys Quest☁️ This is an Amstream EXCLUSIVE! Because coder Cyrille Ayor61 has kindly given us the first look at the game (before its released tomorrow), so tonight is its release party I guess!! In this adventure platformer with plenty of puzzle solving, you have to help poor Foggy stranded on an alien planet recover parts of his space ship and escape from the clutches of the evil Nargs! This is a conversion of an existing ZX Spectrum game released in 2017, but with nice colourful Mode 0 graphics and an all new soundtrack from Jonah (SuTeKH/Epyteor)!
⭐️Tetris 40th⭐️ To celebrate the upcoming 40th birthday of Tetris comes an updated hack of the original Mirrorsoft Amstrad official conversion, now with massively improved in-game graphics and background - almost completely redesigned! The original was pretty much unplayable with terrible sprites and a distracting grey striped background! This is all thanks again to Cyrille Ayor61! Theres also a new loading screen and tune to enjoy!

In a first for my channel - not only are you getting a double longplay & review, but my very first Speccy one too! We of course start with the Amstrad CPC, which is a slightly different version of the Speccy original - it was whilst looking at the Speccy one for comparison and recording some footage that I actually beat that game all the way through too.... so what the heck! Have BOTH versions here!
If you fancy a quick blast on an early Phoenix clone for the home micros then theres nothing better than Laserwarp that defines a quick blast - its err.... quite a short game! But an interesting piece of history and oddity from Amsoft and Mikro-Gen to look at...

Tonight on the AMSTREAM we have a new Amstrad game!...
⭐️🕹️ GATES TO HEAVEN! 🕹️⭐️
The new release from ESP Soft, that talented team behind Red Sunset, Siemb Chronicles, Galactic Tomb etc are back with a gorgeous looking and sounding platformer called Gates To Heaven! A sequel to one of their earliest and oldest games Gates To Hell, youre back in control of Ruperto who is working for Amsoft+ to deploy a revolutionary new network system called AMSDOS+ that advocates for global network freedom! Unfortunately terrorists and hackers are trying to prevent this and its up to you to restore everything and get it uploaded to the CPC 464 and 6128 in time!
This new Amstrad game is a lovely looking platformer over 3 unique levels with 80s styled characters to battle against and 80s music motifs too! You can always expect quality from the ESP Soft team and Im sure Gates To Heaven will be no exception! Tonight well see how far we can get through the game, and hopefully beat it!
