I have so many tags to catch up on, it's crazy x'DDD
But in the meantime, here is a tag I wanted to start after watching all these Disney movies while I've been off and on sick the past week or two :3
So many of these characters are funny and adorable or just downright enjoyable, but sometimes they aren't talked about either in the world or in the editing community and become forgotten until we randomly stumble upon them again and remember just how much we love them. And it got me wanting to showcase some of my favorite characters (whether side characters or main characters) to laugh and love on all over again :3
Granted this tag has been done several times with similar themes like underused or underrated charries, but it's always fun to do the rounds again and pick even more charming guys and gals ;)
So here are my top 5 'forgotten' characters that make me smile ^^

5) Merlin
I love how grumpy Merlin is and how it all makes the scenes with him all that more fun :3
Sword in the Stone isn't as high as far as popularity or favorite movies go, but it has such a near and dear place in my heart. It's not one of my first go-to picks either, but participating in TTWU got me watching it again and it's no wonder that a huge part of what makes it so fun for me is because of this cranky ol' wizard ;)
4) The Three Good Fairies
So I technically cheated on this one since it's three characters rather than one :')
But in my defense, these three are a package deal: you take all of them or none of them (except if I had to pick a favorite of the three, Merryweather is my favorite - hands down xDDD)
And while they aren't necessarily 'forgotten' being from one of the timeless classics, they aren't as popular and well-picked as other side characters and sometimes get pushed to the back of the line-up. Which is a shame, since they are so hilarious together xD
3) David
This guy, my hearttttttt!! :3
He's so sweet and caring... and his playful and romantic personality is adorable! He's not as used as far as editing or character choosing goes, but he's been rising in popularity lately and I love it!!
2) Captain Silver
Where to begin with Silver xDDDD
I love this pirate so much - it's sad that he isn't used as often, though given his cyborg-ness, it makes it rather hard unfortunately xD
But his heart and his personality and growth in the movie is one of my absolute favorites, and though he's more of a main character/villain, he's also one of those softies that you warm up to almost instantly and continue to love. Even when you realize he's the cyborg and should be against him, you still want him to succeed
1) Georges (aka the funny old guy from The Aristocats)
OHMYGOSH THIS SCENE CRACKS ME UP SO HARD!! And most of the time, I never think of him or this movie when editing or looking for a movie to watch. Yet whenever I do watch it and the scene comes up, I can't help but smile at how accurate this lil ol' man is xDDD
