I know this is such a different kind of video for me to post (as I never ever do vent videos xD), but I've had one of those unexpected emotional drops the past few days with an editing rut to match...
But I've been thinking about opening up a little bit about what has been happening the past year with me anyway, so I figured why not now
(so if some of y'all were wondering where I suddenly ran off to, that is why xD)
This rant/vent/emotional squabble thing would be too long to write in this description, plus since it's so private and emotional for me, I think it's better to share it as a secondary link. That way I know that those who genuinely want to know what's going on can read what I have to say, and I don't feel like I'm burdening y'all too much x'D

I don't know if this is a finalized (so-to-speak) spiel, if I'll eventually add more stuff onto it at a future date.... These are just some things that have currently been hitting me hard this week.
I do want to repost that last part of it on here, however, as I genuinely want y'all to know just how much I appreciate you guys. I for reals love you all soooooo much!! And just getting to chat with you guys and hear from you seriously makes my day. I hope that you guys don't think I'm exaggerating or just being nice for the sake of being nice when I say that - I am absolutely grateful for all your support and love!! :3
Please don't hesitate to chat with me whenever you'd like: I've been through so many rough patches, and I know what it's like to have a listening ear when you have something to get off your chest. (:
Plus I am also a bit of a clumsy goofball, so I'm sure I can help ya laugh along the way (;

And for those that are waiting on mep parts from me and whatnot... I am (obviously) going through a bit of a rough patch, so it may take me some time to get back on my feet enough to finish up all of the projects I have on my plate (If only there was an inspiration overload drink!!)
But I am definitely working hard on finishing stuff up. If you have a particular project you really want me to work on, just let me know and keep sending me reminders. I tend to spaz out and forget stuff, so it helps tremendously xD
Just remember:
Keep trying and keep striving for the things that you enjoy. Don’t let anybody tell you that you can’t do something. The world is full of people who are naturally talented at things, but I’ll tell you a little secret - it is the people who practice and build their skills that win the gold. So keep moving, keep working, and you will wake up one day to realize that you really could do it, and no amount of criticism from other people or crazy life events could change that. It may take a little time (heck, I’m still in that stage!), but the important thing is: the day will come :D

Tis been a long and hard journey (as sad as it is to admit considering what I have to post xD)
BUT HERE IT IS!! My round 4 entry
aka, the round where I dont spam the color blue everywhere xD
But oh gosh guys
This was gonna be a lot longer and more complex, I promise
Like legit, I think I had about 9 plots/scenes planned out xDDD
But it all ended up being just one of them due to time issues as per the usual xD
Le sadness
BUT! Hopefully this is... kinda sorta okay? And meets the requirements? Eh?
I know it was more so an argumentative debate, but I figured best to stick with what Carlos does - even tho the boy is treading on some mighty thin ice, welp xDDD
(I really wouldnt doubt him being punished at this rate honestly hahaha)
Theres sooooo many things I missed that Ill for sure catch up on later when I have time. But as always, Ill leave any links to entries from the other contestants that feature some of the plots we had planned out in the pinned comment below ;)

I also may or may not have spent 5 minutes trying to get the lip sync to match at the beginning
and it still sucks xDDD

Such is my life hahaha
Personality Notes:
- Carlos doesnt care much about the argument, mostly because he has a LOT on his mind atm (if only you guys knewwwww *cries*). And the fact hes never thought about it/even been around an AI to care much before
- As outlined by the notes on his hand (cause the poor guy is not the greatest at speeches), he struggles with which side to lean towards as well as what to say. Especially when hes being broadcasted to a good majority of the galaxy - gotta put a lot of pressure on ya xD
- Initially he leans towards Preeds side, who leads over the anti-A.I. rights argument. Though Carlos wafts a bit upon meeting B.E.N. and doing as much research as his distracted mind can take. He isnt sure about letting ALL A.I.s have the same rights as those who are actually living, particularly since programming can be controlled for negative consequences. But he also doesnt like the idea of denying anyone their freedom given his own need for it - thus the conflicted part
- Carlos also talks a lot to the contestants about their takes on the matter to try and get himself some help in both the opinion (and speech *cough*) department, which includes a study session with Tala and Mirela (thankfully shown by Vars entry, bless your heart! :3)
- The images of the other contestants (Marco, Daniel, and Jon) at the beginning of the video are the ones who speak before Carlos, all but Daniel having their own break-down moments in front of the galaxy. Which of course, doesnt help Carlos in feeling very confident about his lack of written speech xD
- So Carlos does as Carlos does best and wings it... albeit getting a little too rebellious than the audience probably anticipated :)
- The Spanish line is (unfortunately) not a Mexican translation as I had to ask for help last-minute from a Spanish friend rather than quick check with my Mexican friend. (maybe Tonis just rubbing off on him a little, eh eh? ;D)
But welp. Huuuuuge apologies to all the Mexican followers out there! I tried my best T.T
For those interested tho, it roughly translates to: I think you all are nuts (crazy, insane, etc. etc.)
(also yall can even pretend this whole thing is in spanish if you want to tho, as Carlos is very passionate and its definitely the kind of thing hed do x))
Editing Notes:
- On the TV, I named the broadcasting network GNN for Galactic Nightly News (cause I am fab at names yepyep)
- The scrolling text on the news reads: live coverage of the AI debate as it is a live broadcasting
- Changing the colors in this thing to the gold theme and editing the characters out of the backgrounds was a nightmare and I do not recommend it (very glad I had a good copy of the Leroy movie at least xD)
- I also forgot to edit that very first picture of the room to have the golden space background in the windows... oops 😂😂
- The little pod camera was the only part I liked working with cause its small and round and cute
