A bus with no driver?! That's right! Thanks to autonomous tech, this shuttle bus transports passengers around by itself.
Created by Navya, a French driverless electric vehicle manufacturer, the "Arma" bus is now taking passengers through Las Vegas' Fremont East entertainment district for a limited time. Navya and the city of Las Vegas say this is the first autonomous electric shuttle to hit a US street, though Uber is already providing public transportation with autonomous cars in Pittsburgh.
This bus is a partnership between Navya, Keolis (a global leader in operating public transportation systems), and the city of Las Vegas.
