An American tries Greggs for the FIRST time, and Britain's most famous bakery did not disappoint. Kalani Ghost Hunter took Tanner from @FearProject to Greggs to try the classic British menu, and we were genuinely blown away by how good (and how cheap) it all was.
If you're not from the UK, Greggs is a British institution — a bakery chain on basically every high street, famous for its sausage rolls, bakes, and cheap, delicious food that Brits are absolutely obsessed with. So as two Americans, we had to see what all the hype was about. We ordered the steak bake, the classic sausage roll, the vegan sausage roll, and the sausage, bean and cheese melt — the full Greggs experience.
The biggest shock? Tanner could not believe how tasty the vegan sausage roll was — genuinely one of the standouts, and neither of us saw that coming. Turns out Britain's favourite bakery lives up to the hype. Now we understand why Brits will queue out the door for this stuff.
