The American Queen steam powered paddle boat was docked in Decatur, Alabama on November 9, 2022. She was enroute from Chattanooga, Tn to Nashville, TN. The route was on the Tennessee River from Chattanooga through north Alabama to the Ohio River and then to the Cumberland River which takes you back to Nashville. Food was being cooked onboard while I was there and it smelled really good! The calliope music you hear is courtesy of Jeff Ronning who first made a video while this same ship was on the Mississippi River in Winona, Minnesota. He allowed me to use the audio portion from his video to help enhance my video. Music was not being played when I was viewing the ship so all I had was wind noise. Check out his you tube channel at:
