For the Costume College 2019 pool party, the American Duchess crew cosplayed our favorite characters from Lore Olympus by Rachel Smythe.

We used Mehron Makeup Paradise AQ in about 3 different tones for each color - a dark, medium, and light. (Here's the pink and 40 other colors listed on the right: amzn.to/2TdBLzy) This stuff is amazing - it takes a little practice, and lots of layers, to apply smoothly, but it covers amazingly well, stays put, but also easily washes off with water. Needless to say, we weren't swimming at the pool party.
The Cast:
Christina - Persephone
Abby - Hera
Lauren - Hades
Nicole - Hecate
This was a really easy cosplay to put together mostly from clothes and bits already in our closets. Christina and Nicole wore their own hair while Abby and Lauren both used wigs from Arda Wigs (arda-wigs.com/). Lauren dyed her Kyle Classic wig in pure white with blue acrylic paint mixed with rubbing alcohol, cut, and styled it with steam.
We had a GREAT time cosplaying these beloved characters, and we hope you enjoy this little look at the evening.
