is the AmazonBasics electronic flash worth buying? well, I bought one and it's pretty powerful and easy to use. It is a basic manual flash where you have to adjust the power output. it also works in a normal slave flash mode where your main flash will trigger this flash. There is also a mode that will work with another TTL flash. how does this work? well in s2 mode this flash will ignore the first flash that a TTL flash well shot out (pre or test flash) then when a TTL flash shoots out is second flash this Amazon flash will fire as well. this means you can use this Amazon flash as a secondary, fill, hair, kicker, background or any other way you can think of using a second flash. The AmazonBasics electronic flash also works well as your main on-camera flash when bounced off the ceiling or wall. this flash is well worth the low price point if you are looking to get into flash photography, need a second or back up flash.
