Amazon's new Echo Dot has taken on a new form factor; they're done with cylinders and have transitioned to spheres.
The new Echo Dot 4th gen is pretty much the same as the outgoing 3rd generation, but with slightly better sound and a new design. Is it worth upgrading? Yes, but only if you have an Echo Dot 1st or 2nd gen.
