One thing about the current state of the smart home world is that fact that voice assistance are everywhere, and yet not created equal. Sonos and Ecobee both ship with Alexa onboard, but it's not the full Amazon experience. But I spent good money on my Sonos speakers. Shouldn't I be able to use them like I want to AND get the whole Amazon Smarthome experience? The answer is definitely yes. In this video we're going to show you how to set your prefered speaker on your Amazon Smart Home group so that when you ask Amazon's Alexa to play music for you, she does it out of the right speakers. And yes, this does work with both Amazon Prime as well as Spotify.
